We are looking for a CAD Engineer with mechanical skills, ambition, motivation  to grow with and within the company. Somebody who is challenged by identifying the added value of a solution instead of answering the question.

As CAD Engineer you will work in a team of motivated colleagues, such as other CAD engineers, Design engineers and Sales engineers, on bespoke handling and lifting solutions for a wide variety of applications used in WTG installation, heavy lifting, and cleanrooms, to name a few.

What will you be doing

In this role, you will have the following tasks:

Conceptual phase:

          • Develop concept visualizations;
          • Develop drawings for tendering

Basic Design phase:

          • Develop arrangement drawings

Detailed Design phase:

          • Develop secondary steel to create an ergonomic and safe machine
          • Develop fabrication drawings
          • Develop arrangement drawings
          • Develop method statements and installation drawings

Preparation of packages for all deliverables in collaboration with lead engineer;
Actively investigate and promote process improvements within the organization.

          • We offer a starting salary of €3.300,- to €4.000,- gross per month, based on 40 hours worked per week. On top of this comes 8% vacation allowance.
          • With this position comes 200 vacation hours, again based on 40 hours worked per week.

What do we expect from you

Education and experience

          • You possess an secondary education degree (MBO+) in the direction of mechanical engineering(pre), industrial design or civil engineering
          • You have up to 4 years of experience in a similar position.

Expertise and skills

          • Experience with 3D (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD)
          • Familiar with geometrical tolerances, weld specification, manufacturability;
          • Familiar with different types of fasteners, actuators, rigging hardware
          • Accurate and precise
          • You are inventive and creative in finding solutions to structural challenges;
          • You work well within a team
          • You practice clear and effective communication
          • You communicate well in English, both spoken and written.
