SLOT HOUSING BEARINGS
Spherical plane bearings with easy fit slot-housing have been developed to be applied in a drum assembly in chlorine-water environment. The self-aligning geometry allows for longer drums that can function without added lubrication above and below water.
COUPLING
A bespoke coupling has been developed as retro-fit upgrade for arrangements where two drums need to be connected by a torque transmitting link. The coupling allows the axis of the drums to take on a relative misalignment angle, while still transmitting torque. The slender design enables retrofit in narrow spaces.
ROLLER GUIDES
TILLEN designed these roller guides for offshore drill operations to align the drill with the tower. The rollers provide a stable support for the leader while resisting the torque from the drill head.
